Project Overview:

DCFL partnered with JTD Land Co. to deliver the second phase of the Park View Preserve development. This large-scale project involved comprehensive site preparation, utility infrastructure installation, and roadway construction to support the expansion of this residential community.
Scope of Work: 
The Park View Preserve Phase 2 project included the following activities:​​​​​
  • Demolition and Erosion Control:

    • Removed existing asphalt and curbs.

    • Installed erosion control measures and inlet protection to safeguard the site during construction.

  • Land Clearing and Preparation:

    • Cleared and grubbed over 3 acres to prepare the site for development.

  • Sanitary Sewer Installation:

    • Over 2,800 linear feet of 8-inch SDR35 PVC gravity sewer were installed.

    • Installed 15 manholes and 74 sanitary service lines.

    • Tied the new system into an existing sanitary service manhole.

  • Stormwater Management:

    • Installed over:

      • 850 linear feet of 15-inch RCP.

      • 700 linear feet of 18-inch RCP.

      • 850 linear feet of 24-inch RCP.

      • 200 linear feet of 30-inch RCP.

    • Installed 27 storm structure inlets and tied into four existing storm structures.

  • Water System Installation:

    • Tied into an existing 8-inch water main.

    • Installed:

      • Over 2,600 linear feet of 8-inch C900 DR18 PVC water main.

      • Over 500 linear feet of 4-inch C900 DR18 PVC water main.

      • 6 fire hydrants and 70 water service lines.

  • Roadway and Sidewalk Construction:

    • Over 8,100 square yards of asphalt, base, and stabilization were installed.

    • Installed over 5,800 linear feet of F curb.

    • Constructed 550 square yards of sidewalk, including 6 ADA ramps with detectable warning pads.

  • Conduit Installation:

    • Over 11,800 linear feet of 2-inch Schedule 40 conduits were installed to support future utility needs.

  • Delivered a fully integrated utility and stormwater management system to support the expansion of Park View Preserve.

  • Improved community access and functionality with new roadways, sidewalks, and ADA-compliant infrastructure.

  • Coordinated closely with JTD Land Co. to ensure the project was completed on time and within budget.

The completion of Park View Preserve Phase 2 supports the continued growth of Apopka by providing essential infrastructure for residential development. DCFL’s work ensures the community is equipped with reliable utilities, safe roadways, and accessible pedestrian pathways, creating a welcoming and sustainable environment for future residents.
