Project Overview: 

DCFL was contracted by FPL and Coastal Electrical Construction to perform critical site development work for the Coyote Substation project. This project involved extensive land clearing, earthwork, drainage improvements, and site stabilization to support the construction of essential electrical infrastructure. The work ensured that the site was properly prepared for long-term reliability, functionality, and durability.
Scope of Work: This extensive project involves:​​​​
Scope of Work: 
The Park View Preserve Phase 2 project included the following activities:​​​​​
  • Land Clearing and Earthwork:

    • Cleared and grubbed over 4.5 acres to prepare the site for development.

    • Imported over 12,700 loose cubic yards of clean fill to stabilize the substation foundation.

  • Stormwater Management:

    • Excavated a new storm pond and constructed a berm to manage runoff and prevent erosion.
      Installed:

      • Over 100 linear feet of 12-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP).

      • Over 300 linear feet of 18-inch RCP.

      • Over 30 linear feet of 14x23-inch elliptical reinforced concrete pipe (ERCP).

  • Roadway and Site Stabilization:

    • Installed over 3,400 square yards of roadway base and stabilization to support heavy equipment access.

    • Installed over 6,300 square yards of loose rock yard cover for long-term substation stability.
